Ampersand 8 will be a night of celestial soundscapes and drone. Twilight Tipi is Rob Byrd on processed electric guitar and Kris Thompson on theremin. They masterfully use signal processing allows for deep exploration of the sonic possibilities of both instruments. Known as Eat Cloud and Caustic Rainbow in the past, Andrew Tomasello just released his new record under his new/old name. He has a way of creating spare and strikingly beautiful minimalist drone.
